Most of the Tick bites don’t transmit harmful microbes. But, certain species of ticks carry several tick-borne diseases. The symptoms of the diseases develop after many days or weeks after the tick bite. Only two species of ticks are known to transmit diseases, i.e., Hard Ticks and Soft Ticks. This species of Ticks alter their hosts to feed their blood along which these transmit the microbes.
Lyme Disease is one of the major diseases caused due to tick bites. This disease produces a wide range of symptoms. The victim must not ignore the symptoms and opt for immediate medical attention. The impacts include facial paralysis, arthritis, fever, and rashes. If ignored for a longer time, it may develop heart palpitations, nerve pain, short-term memory loss, inflammation of the brain and spinal cord, etc.
Some of the other health diseases caused due to tick bite are Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Ehrlichiosis anaplasmosis, Relapsing fever, Tularemia, Meningoencephalitis, Colorado tick fever, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, Babesiosis, Cytauxzoonosis and Tick paralysis.
The affected person must opt for treatments before the health impacts turn serious. Apart from medical attention, the victim must take measures for Ticks Pest Control and eliminate the pests from the property and surrounding, to live a healthy life (For More Details Click Here).
