Subterranean termites
Subterranean termites are long, narrow and oval-shaped creatures that grow up to 1/8 inch long. The color classification of this species of termites ranges from creamy white to dark brown/ black. These creatures have six legs. The Subterranean termites build tunnels that are known as mud tubes.
These mud tubes protect the creatures from open air, light and connect them to the food sources. These termites live in underground colonies, and a colony can contain two million creatures. This species is the most destructive for its hard saw-toothed jaws. They have the potential to collapse a building over time.
