Argentina ants are brown in color and slender in shape. This species of ant can be 1.5-3.0 mm long. Argentina ants have eyes close to the antennae base and have no spine on their thorax. If you crush these ants, they smell very awful. They build their nests in the cores of trees and shrubs as well as edges of the structure and paths, but in wet weather, they move interiors of the buildings finding a safe place to dwell. This species of ant create multiple nests, and the area can cover several hectares. Their primary source of food is honeydew produced by scale insects and aphids. They prefer sweet foods but also can feed on meat as well as dead insects. This species of ant is very stubborn and would re-colonize in the neighboring areas within two weeks of Ants Treatment.
