90 species of bull ants got identified throughout Australia. These ants are large and can grow up to 40 mm in size. These ants have large eyes and slender mandibles. They are attacking in nature and have potent venom loaded stings. They deliver multiple stings curling their abdomen and biting with their jaws. This species of ants have excellent vision. They quickly track and follow the intruders. This species of ant doesn’t build its colony. It invades nest of other ant species and takes over it forming its colony. They target the nests make underground and have hidden small entrances. They feed on the nectar of flowers and juices of other plants. They also feed on animal preys as well as insects which they carry to the nests.
