Indianmeal Moths are the most common Pantry moths found in the kitchen and pantries. The Indianmeal moths found in stored foods and grain pantry pests. This species of moths feed on grain or cereal products. These creatures are also responsible for other insect infestation problems associated with natural food. The moths lay microscopic eggs, and the females lay eggs 350-500 eggs during their lifespan. The larvae’s size is a ½ inch and is dirty-white in color with green or pink hues. The adult moths have a wingspan of ¾ inches, and while resting, the wings remain folded held tightly together. The wings get blended in two colors. These moths create a web-like substance on the items they feed and infest. The moth’s lifespan in this species is 5-7 days.
