The Brown-Banded cockroaches are small in size and can grow up to 11- 14.5 mm long after reaching adulthood. These are light brown with tan transverse bands present on their wings. These roaches prefer to dwell in warm temperatures. The pests invade the interiors in search of safe shelter.
The brown-banded roaches live in areas with ample food supply and hiding places. These pests feed on anything that includes trash, pantry goods, stockings, nylon, drapes, etc. The female produces 13 egg case, and each egg case contains 16 eggs. In ideal temperature, the lifespan of these roaches extends from 90-115 days.
