Lamprima is a genus of beetles that contains seven species, i.e., Lamprima Adolphinae, Lamprima Aenea, Lamprima Aurata, Lamprima Insularis, Lamprima Latreilli, Lamprima Micardi and Lamprima Varians. The beetles in these species are commonly known as Golden Stag beetle or Green Stag Beetle. The beetles in this species vary widely with diverse colors. These beetles are of green, blue, gold and brown colors including several other colors. The beetles in this species have an oval body shape which is shiny. The males have larger jaws in comparison to the females. These can grow up to 3cm long.
